SOSIOLOGI MEDIA CHORY MILA MAERZA 051703503125021 Sosiologi Media adalah ilmu yang mengkaji media dari sudut sosiologis. Dapat dijelaskan bahwa, sosiologi mempelajari interaksi, struktur yang terjadi di masyarakat, sedangkan media merupakan alat/teknologi penghubung, penyampai sesuatu baik itu informasi maupun berita. Media Lama Media lama merupakan media yang telah ada sejak lama seperti media cetak (Koran, majalah atau buku) dan media elektronik (televisi atau radio). Contohnya saja pada zaman dahulu zaman kolonial misalnya,  belum ada yang namanya seperti internet seperti zaman sekarang, dahulu nenek moyang kita mendapat informasi dan berita hanya dari koran, radio.  Untuk ukuran televisi juga sangat jarang bisa dibilang barang mewah yang tidak setiap orang punya.
